Visible while rowing
Mounted on the stern tip of the boat, the jet is oriented toward the rower and remains visible while rowing.
The Pitot tube principle
U-Pitot takes its name from the Pitot tube, a device used to measure the speed of a fluid.
As water enters the tube, the pressure depends directly on the boat’s speed and causes the jet to rise.
The faster the boat moves, the higher the jet rises.
Used by rowers at all levels
U-Pitot is used by rowers of all levels, from recreational athletes to elite competitors, and several national teams already use it for training.

Unfortunately doesn't fit coastal sculling boat or pairs/doubles
To clarify, the U-Pitot isn’t designed for coastal rowing boats, which explains why it didn’t fit your setup.
Thanks to your feedback, we will now explore the development of a coastal version of some of our products, including the U-Pitot, to better meet the needs of coastal rowers.
